Option 1: Cambridge International AS and A level
Students must study four subjects from the following:
Mathematics
English
Arabic
Physics
Chemistry
Biology
Economics
Business Studies
Information Communication Technology
Note: Omani Nationals must also take Islamic Studies and Civics in conjunction with the choices listed above.AS and A Level Examinations will take place at the end of both the Grade 11 and Grade 12 academic years.
Option 2: Oman Bilingual GDE (Thanawiyah Amma)
This program is provided by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in Oman. Learners study a total of eight subjects. This comprises of five core (compulsory) subjects and three elective subjects to be chosen by the student.
Core (Compulsory) Subjects
Math, English, Arabic, Islamic Studies, Social Studies
Electives
Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Business, Economics, ICT, Physical Education or Art All subjects are studied in English, except Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies. Learners take General Diploma of Education from the Ministry of Education in Sultanate of Oman at the end of Grade 12. GDE Examinations take place twice per year in Grade 12 after each semester is completed
